Yawn. I know John Stewart seems clever and insightful to many, but except for the Rove dissemblance (that really was a 180) all of those other arguments, while amusing in an 'oh snap' kind of way, are totally disingenuous as legitimate arguments which make me not in fact heart politics or at least political comedy shows.
To each his own. I wouldn't use "The Daily Show" as a primary source for "news," but, personally, I think that "The Daily Show," or humor in general, is sometimes the best way to cut through the crap, to the heart of an issue. It's always, at the very least, comic relief from the insanity of politics.
